On the internet you can make much more money in far less time than it would take going the traditional route with a Just-Over-Broke position or a professional career.

To make money online you have to be open to change and willing to learn. Otherwise, stay where you are because anytime you start a new venture there is not only a degree of learning but understanding that systems and methods will vary from what you may be accustomed to in the offline world. Therefore, not all foreign-looking matter must be destroyed and all those involved vilified beyond redemption and called frauds. Nor are the ignorant to be labeled stupid and lazy. Not yet, how about that concept of making millions from building a list of people? Apart from the fact that's another topic altogether, look at it like the traditional guest book. It's a database of potential customers, i.e., it's GOLD.

And it is with these strategies that many an entrepreneur makes money online. Look at it this way, on Planet Earth you refer a friend to ABC store because they have this great deal on a new kind of toilet paper. Everyone needs it, right? If your friend bought the toilet paper based on your word-of-mouth, you didn't get paid for that referral, did you? Whereas, an affiliate marketer does. When a business makes money and profits from your skills, talents and endeavors, you are to be rightfully paid for that valued service. Otherwise, you're working for free, also known as a volunteer and that doesn't pay for the yacht, does it.
