Wow, in the last 1.5 year or so the Economy in our Country has really been in the dump. I remember last Fall things were looking so rosy too. The Stock Market was going strong like never before. But right around the first week in NOvemebr of 2007 stocks began to plummet. We are talking about strong companies like Apple and IBM.
Since then its really been a castrophe in the Market.

On top of this we have a Housing Market which has been slumping for over 2 years now. And there doesn't seem to be any relief in sight right now.

Hopefully with our new President things can get back on track.

I can tell you this if I had 10K right now at my disposal I would be hesitant to put it in the Stock Market. I just do not think we have seen the bottom in our Equities.
Of course some say put it in real estate but that is also risky as Foreclosures dont seem to be slowing down.
